Location

The Satel team is based in Vancouver, BC with our office located in the False Creek area. This position will be remote for the foreseeable future, however, candidates must be able to operate in PST.

Employment Type

Full-time position with a probation period

Most important soft skills:

Top technical skills:

• Advanced experience in developing with Shopify API and the platform as a whole
• Proficient in Python
• Proficient in REST API and experience with GraphQL
• Proficient in Github and version control.
• Comfortable with both Linux and Windows OS
• Comfortable with both Relational or Non-relational databases, SQL or NoSQL
• Advanced experience in Azure or AWS or Google Cloud would be an asset.
• Familiar with prominent design principles and patterns
• Experience designing RESTful web APIs
• Advanced experience with testing, CI/CD
• Experience with Docker technologies.
• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc. front-end facing technologies

Nice to Have:

• Experience with C#
• Experience using development tools such as VS Code and Visual Studio
• Experience using VSTS (especially CI/CD pipelines)
• Experience with TDD/BDD testing
• Experience with front-end frameworks (Angular, React, Vue.js)

Our Interview Process

An initial phone/zoom screening followed by a Zoom video interview with department heads, and a final video interview with our CEO.

We've gone fully remote! However, if you are overseas and do not plan to relocate you must be willing to operate in PST.
